GuideWorks

GuideWorks screenshot thumbnailGuideWorks, a partnership between Comcast and TV Guide, develops navigation and menus for cable boxes. It’s very likely that if you have a digital cable box, you are using one of their menus.
My role was to recreate the current navigation and menu technology in Flash using their new design. The final product will be used as a sales tool.
The work was done in ActionScript 2.0 utilizing OOP and external classes while also streaming FLV files and reading external XML files.

Check it out. (This project is unavailable for public viewing due to a confidentiality agreement.)

About

Headquartered outside of Philadelphia in picturesque South Jersey, I specialize in ActionScript development. I create dynamic applications by joining Flash with XML and PHP/MySQL as well as providing supporting programming in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

As a company of one, I am able to focus on the need of the customers, as long as that need is ActionScript.
